About This Book
"Clearly Africans need to design, create, forge, operate day to day and fund their own organizations, 100% of the time instead of arriving hat in hand pleading to the very populations who oppress them in the first place. Also independent Black organizations of the working class must be funded primarily by its working class if that class is to lead that organization and future mass movement. Those earlier aryan/racist aims were plain. Integration was a White post-segregation strategy for keeping Africans usably underdeveloped, tracked out of the sciences, out of math, mystical, and dependent. It worked all too well, fastening us to yet another bankrupt status at the bottom of the society. Our present organizational, institutional and educational aims should be the antithesis of this: scientific, applied, systematic, procedurally sound, morally pure, focused on the liberation of African intelligence to work for the benefit of our continent and society. Reflexes designed long ago to achieve the subjugation of Africans cannot serve to free us. It is obvious they never have helped us. Merely protesting without intricately organizing and working to build in our own communities is counter-productive. Educational, cultural, moral, political, economic, and social systems designed to inculcate servile reflexes--we shall overcome, I-have-a-dream, passive suffering, pleading/begging--cannot work to teach habits of self respect and self reliance. You cannot produce an adult who is scientific and able to master the world and build in a healthy way using it when the child that becomes the adult is processed through sing and dancing and mysticism."--Publisher's description.
